The Prince Steel Knives Mini Dashi takes the distinctive profile of our standard Clip Point Dashi and compresses it into a shorter, more compact throwing knife built around instinctive technique.

At 8.94 inches overall, the Mini Dashi is especially well suited to no-spin, half-spin, and other instinctive throwing variations. Its compact length keeps the knife quick and manageable in the hand, while the substantial 1/4-inch stock gives the thrower a broad, positive indexing surface to feel against the fingers during setup and release.

Unlike many 1/4-inch throwing knives in the 10–12 inch range, the Mini Dashi gives you the tactile feedback of thick steel without carrying the same overall mass. At approximately 6.35 ounces per knife, it offers a compact alternative for throwers who want the indexing advantages of heavier stock in a lighter, shorter platform.

Each Mini Dashi is made from 1095 high-carbon steel and built specifically as a throwing knife. This three-knife set comes packaged together in a fitted wooden presentation and storage box.
